I just had the most perfect sandwich EVER. It was a fig and brie pannini and OH MY GOD SO FUCKING GOOD. And don't even get started on the brie--it was pasteurized, I checked. So there.
I've decided that time has stopped moving forward. I will never be more than six weeks pregnant, tomorrow's ultrasound will never happen, this kid will never get born, I will live here in this state forever.
Sigh.
Discovered two things yesterday. One, morning sickness is much better when I get tons of sleep. Two, if I go swimming in the evening (which I did, and it was delightful) I will get up to pee about 251650196 times that night. I guess this immersion theory really works (the thought is that immersing yourself in water up to the neck helps balance the fluid in your body).
By the way, tomorrow's ultrasound isn't scheduled until after 5pm, so don't expect an update until much later (possibly not until Friday)...
Thanks for the answers to all your questions. Splenda only, but in serious moderation. Got it. I skipped a Diet Coke today because I couldn't find the Splenda one. But I have a couple more questions.
First off, Charlie and I have decided to probably skip the CVS testing this time. First off, the doctor that did it last time has an extremely low miscarriage rate--under .5%, about as low as amnio--is no longer practicing in my state due to our insane fucking malpractice insurance rates. Secondly, the boys were fine last time, and this is the same batch of embryos. I know, I know, each embryo is different, but still--why go through that again (it really sucked). Instead, I think we'll wait to see if anything shows up on ultrasound/quad screen to warrant amnio.
The only risk, of course, is that if we wait from amnio, we could be setting ourselves up for another late term loss. Which would suck serious ass.
So what do you think?
Oh. And the last question. Should I color my hair? ***EDITED TO ADD***
People, people, people. Do you really think that is my natural hair color? I have been dying my hair for over 25 years. Who the fuck knows what my natural color is. So allow me to rephrase the question:
Shall I continue to color my hair?
